Gamevice Controller Will be Available for 7-inch Wikipad Gaming Tablet
A few months ago, we first saw the arrival of 7-inch Wikipad gaming tablet. The device meets reasonable success in the market and this could be what has encouraged the company to introduce an accessory for users. The Gamevice gamepad could be hooked up easily to the tablet and it includes essential controls that users would expect from such a controller. The company already provided us with the image of the product and it seems to have buttons layout similar to the Wikipad tablet.
Wikipad is sensible enough to include compatibility for Android and Windows 8 tablets as well. Users could immediately adapt themselves with the controller; since it offers a basic layout. Other than the usual L1/R1 and L2/R2 button, there are dual analog sticks as well. Additionally, there are four analog action buttons and a standard D-pad button.
During the same opportunity, Wikipad also stated that an OTA software update will be rolled out to its 7-inch gaming tablet. This will bring the device to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and also grant users the ability to map touchscreen interface to the Gamevice controller. The update also includes a copy of Dead Trigger 2, which is optimized to work smoothly with the new physical controller.
